Daytona International Speedway Road Course gave Round 4 of the TSR Autumn Multiclass 2026 season a very different rhythm: long straights, heavy braking and just enough traffic management to keep every class honest across two hours.
At the front, Ciro Iadicicco produced the most complete performance of the evening in LMP2, winning from pole and taking the class fastest lap. The GT classes were less straightforward. José Alves held off Per Tufvesson by just 2.381s in LMGT3 - AM, while Xander Huizing strengthened his championship hand with a five-second win in LMGT3 - PRO.
LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM podium
🥇 Ciro Iadicicco – #79 Oreca 07 ELMS
🥈 ercan gözbulut – #27 Oreca 07 ELMS
🥉 Yigit Efe Diren – #75 Oreca 07 ELMS
Iadicicco had been quickest when it mattered in qualifying, taking pole with a 1:35.630, just 0.010s clear of both ercan gözbulut and Jonas Knoefel. In the race, though, that small qualifying margin became something more substantial. Iadicicco completed 73 laps in 2:01:25.157, finishing 1:15.980 ahead of gözbulut and adding the fastest lap of the class, a 1:35.920.
Yigit Efe Diren moved from P4 on the grid to third, finishing 1:21.881 behind the winner and keeping Luca Sallustro at bay, with Sallustro gaining two places from P6 to fourth. Knoefel slipped from P3 to fifth and finished one lap down. Josh Castle was sixth, four laps down, while Tomas Stanek and Christian Rivi were classified after 14 and 4 laps respectively. Emir Boztepe, Mallt Belling, fatih DOGAN and Emanuele Mastro Battista did not start.
LMGT3 - AM podium
🥇 José Alves – #523 BMW M4 LMGT3
🥈 Per Tufvesson – #8 Lexus RC F GT3
🥉 Enes Emirhan Yıldız – #64 Porsche 911 GT3 R
The AM GT race was the closest finish of the night among the class winners. Alves, who had also taken class pole in qualifying with a 1:46.637, won after 66 laps in 2:01:42.437. Tufvesson finished only 2.381s behind in the Lexus, and he had the outright pace marker for the class with a 1:46.394 fastest lap.
Behind them, Enes Emirhan Yıldız made one of the strongest climbs of the race, moving from P11 on the grid to third and finishing 1:25.281 behind Alves. Adam Elwell matched that eight-place gain from P12 to fourth, one lap down, while Francesco Perrelli was fifth after starting P8. Ranjiv Kalsi was sixth, 11 laps down, and both Edmunds Simanis and Hassan Armien Armien did not start.
LMGT3 - PRO podium
🥇 Xander Huizing – #69 Ferrari 296 GT3
🥈 Atakan Ünlü – #41 Ferrari 296 GT3
🥉 Tayyip Cihangir – #55 Porsche 911 GT3 R
LMGT3 - PRO began with Tayyip Cihangir on pole after a 1:46.250 in qualifying, but the race came back towards the Ferraris. Huizing started P4 and gained three places to win after 67 laps, with Atakan Ünlü second, 5.120s behind. Ünlü also set the class fastest lap, a 1:46.397, just 0.009s quicker than Cihangir’s best race lap.
Cihangir completed the podium, 54.620s behind Huizing, while Alan Axon put in a notable recovery to finish fourth from P13 on the grid, one lap down. Mehmet Şenocak was fifth, three laps down, and fatih sarı was classified sixth after 51 laps. Ian Paskin started P2 but was classified after 2 laps, while Özkan Göksen, Ender Oktay, BF81 Niğdem and Emanuele Ciancio did not start.
Championship picture
In LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM, Iadicicco’s maximum return moves him to 138 points and gives him a 62-point lead over Tomas Stanek, who sits second on 76. Knoefel is third on 69, with Asim Tugay and ercan gözbulut level on 63 points in fourth and fifth.
LMGT3 - AM remains led by Tufvesson on 171 points, but Alves’ Daytona victory was valuable in the wider contest. Francesco Perrelli is second on 153, 18 points behind Tufvesson, with Ranjiv Kalsi third on 111. Edmunds Simanis holds fourth on 82, ahead of Mike Landreth on 74.
Huizing now leads LMGT3 - PRO on 108 points. fatih sarı is second on 81, only one point ahead of Ian Paskin on 80. Alan Axon and Mehmet Şenocak are tied on 73 points in fourth and fifth, which keeps that part of the table tightly packed going into the next round.
Martin's strategy notes
LMP2 control: Iadicicco’s race was built on clean execution. Pole, class fastest lap and victory by 1:15.980 is a fairly clear set of numbers. Gözbulut held second from P2 on the grid, while Diren’s move from P4 to third was the key podium gain.
AM GT pressure: Alves won the class, but Tufvesson’s 1:46.394 fastest lap and 2.381s final gap show how close that contest stayed. Enes Emirhan Yıldız and Adam Elwell each gained eight places, the biggest moves in the class.
PRO GT pace: Ünlü had the fastest lap in LMGT3 - PRO with a 1:46.397, but Huizing’s consistency gave him the race by 5.120s. Cihangir started from class pole and finished third, while Axon’s rise from P13 to fourth was the largest PRO gain of the night.
Field spread: Daytona rewarded those who reached the flag cleanly. The top three LMP2 cars all completed 73 laps, the top three AM cars completed 66, and the top three PRO cars completed 67. Beyond that, lap losses grew quickly across all three classes.
Round 5 takes the championship to Paul Ricard - 1A-V2 on Monday 12 October 2026 at 18:30 UTC. For the numbers behind Daytona, see the full results and the championship standings.
