A community built around racing, friendship and a shared passion for motorsport.
Transatlantic Sim Racing (TSR)
Like many sim racing communities that emerged during the Covid pandemic, Transatlantic Sim Racing started with a few people who simply enjoyed racing together.
TSR was formed by Trevor, Phil and Ian, who had met through various online RaceRoom communities. Having built friendships along the way, they joined forces with Vince and Andre, who helped lay the foundations of the community in those early days.
Where It All Began
RaceRoom was our first home. We started organising our own events and, for a while, even hosted regular daily races.

One of our early highlights was Communities Collide, a championship that ran for around a year. It brought together six sim racing communities, each represented by six drivers, all in the same car. It was a fantastic sight, and a great example of what sim racing communities can achieve when they come together.
It was around this time that Xander and Richard joined the team, helping TSR continue to grow.

The People Behind TSR
As the years passed, more familiar faces became part of the TSR family, and many of them still race with us today. Arben, Sam, Anthony and Mike are just a few of those who have helped shape the community along the way.
These days, the day-to-day running of TSR falls largely to Richard, Ian and Xander, with plenty of help from others. Our stewarding team plays an important part in keeping racing fair and enjoyable for everyone, with Craig providing valuable support.
And, of course, we can't forget Guss!
The Voice of TSR
Guss, our commentator, brings something a little different to our broadcasts. In his own words, he plays games, talks a lot about games, writes books and draws!
His enthusiasm, personality and sometimes unconventional approach to commentary have become a much-loved part of our race broadcasts. Week after week, he brings our events to life.
Racing Together
Over the years we've had the pleasure of working alongside some fantastic sim racing communities, including SCB, BSKIT, RR Leagues and RWB, among many others.
Whether through collaborative events, shared championships or simply supporting each other's races, these relationships have helped make the wider sim racing community what it is today. We believe sim racing is better when communities work together, rather than compete with one another for drivers.

Evolving With the Times
Like the sim racing world itself, TSR has changed over the years. Our journey started in RaceRoom, moved on to Assetto Corsa Competizione and, eventually, to Le Mans Ultimate. We even flirted with rFactor 2 along the way!

The move to ACC was also when we took an important step forward in how we run our racing, by adopting SimGrid for event and championship management. It proved to be a real turning point. It gave our championships more structure, helped us reach drivers beyond our own community and significantly raised our profile in the wider sim racing world.
Today, Le Mans Ultimate is very much our home. With its focus on endurance racing, multiclass competition and the world of WEC, it's a natural fit for the racing we love to organise.
We're not tied to one simulator, though. Each platform has brought something different: new opportunities, new challenges and plenty of memorable racing. Through all those changes, the one constant has been the community itself.
Where We Are Today
TSR generally concentrates on running one championship at a time, and we've built a fantastic group of drivers from across the UK, Europe and North America. You can see the champions from our past series in our Hall of Fame.
We've never set out to be the biggest sim racing community. Our aim has always been to keep things manageable and enjoyable, and focused on what matters: good racing, good organisation and good people. That means well-organised championships, close and competitive racing, and an environment where drivers can enjoy their hobby without unnecessary complications.
We're proud of what we've built, the friendships we've made and the people who continue to make TSR what it is.
We're not about being the biggest. We're about enjoying the racing, respecting our fellow competitors and making every championship something worth being part of.
And there's always room on the grid for another friendly face. Whether you're an experienced sim racer or just looking for somewhere to get started, you're always welcome at Transatlantic Sim Racing.
