Silverstone was meant to offer a dry start, a spell of drizzle, and then some relief later on. In practice, the wet weather arrived earlier than many expected and lingered over much of the 75 minutes, turning Round 3 of the TSR Autumn Multiclass 2026 into a test of patience as much as pace.

The closest finish came at the head of LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM, where fatih DOGAN beat pole-sitter Ciro Iadicicco by just 0.639s after 38 laps. In the GT classes, Per Tufvesson converted strong pace into the LMGT3 - AM win, while Ian Paskin took LMGT3 - PRO honours on a day when the championship picture tightened rather neatly.

LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM podium

🥇 fatih DOGAN – #40 Oreca 07 ELMS
🥈 Ciro Iadicicco – #79 Oreca 07 ELMS
🥉 Josh Castle – #666 Oreca 07 ELMS

Iadicicco had started from class pole after a 1:43.620 in qualifying, with DOGAN only 0.106s adrift. The race was just as close. DOGAN gained one place from his listed P2 start, set the fastest LMP2 lap of the race at 1:44.370, and held Iadicicco to a margin of 0.639s at the flag.

Josh Castle completed the podium, gaining two places from P5 and finishing one lap down. Tomas Stanek and Asim Tugay also made progress, each gaining three places to finish fourth and fifth. Further back, Emanuele Mastro Battista completed 16 laps with a 20s time penalty, Simon Steele completed 14 laps with a 15s time penalty, while Luca Sallustro, Mallt Belling, Eren Ertürk and Christian Rivi did not start.

LMGT3 - AM podium

🥇 Per Tufvesson – #8 Lexus RC F GT3
🥈 Ranjiv Kalsi – #56 Lexus RC F GT3
🥉 Francesco Perrelli – #92 BMW M4 LMGT3

Tufvesson was the class benchmark in both sessions, taking AM qualifying honours with a 2:00.230 and then setting the fastest race lap at 2:00.995. The result sheet credits him with five places gained from his listed P6 start, and he finished 6.441s clear after 35 laps.

Ranjiv Kalsi produced one of the strongest climbs of the race, moving from P11 to second in the #56 Lexus. Francesco Perrelli kept himself firmly in the championship fight with third, 21.381s behind Tufvesson. Edmunds Simanis rose eleven places to fourth, while Mike Landreth gained seven to fifth. Doğaç Eray completed 13 laps and finished eighth.

LMGT3 - PRO podium

🥇 Ian Paskin – #77 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo
🥈 BF81 Niğdem – #16 BMW M4 LMGT3
🥉 fatih sarı – #10 Lamborghini Huracan GT3

Ian Paskin started P3 and came through to win LMGT3 - PRO by 23.421s, his best lap a 2:00.637. BF81 Niğdem finished second despite a 30s time penalty, while fatih sarı gained four places from P7 to complete the podium in the Lamborghini.

The raw pace in the class belonged to Xander Huizing, who took pole with a 1:59.481 and later set the fastest PRO race lap at 2:00.252, but he finished eighth after completing 21 laps. Alan Axon climbed five places to fourth, Eduardo Daroca finished fifth with a 10s time penalty, and Mehmet Åženocak made up seven places to take sixth. Ender Oktay and Emanuele Ciancio did not start.

Championship picture

In LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM, Ciro Iadicicco remains in control on 102 points. Asim Tugay and Tomas Stanek are tied on 63 points, 39 behind the leader, with Jonas Knoefel fourth on 51 and Silverstone winner fatih DOGAN fifth on 43.

LMGT3 - AM is extremely tight at the top. Per Tufvesson leads with 111 points, just one ahead of Francesco Perrelli on 110. Edmunds Simanis sits third on 82, with Ranjiv Kalsi on 75 and Mike Landreth on 74 keeping the upper half of the table compact.

LMGT3 - PRO has closed up after Silverstone. Xander Huizing still leads on 72 points, but Ian Paskin’s win moves him to 67, only five points back. Emanuele Ciancio and fatih sarı are level on 66, while Mehmet Şenocak is fifth on 55.

Martin's strategy notes

LMP2 was decided by very small margins. Iadicicco had pole by 0.106s, DOGAN had the race’s faster lap by 0.273s, and the final gap was 0.639s. That is not much room for error over 38 laps.

The AM class rewarded clean progress. Tufvesson gained five places, Kalsi gained nine, Simanis gained eleven and Landreth gained seven. In a wet race, that sort of forward movement usually says more than one headline lap.

PRO pace did not guarantee the result. Huizing had pole and the fastest class race lap, but finished eighth after 21 laps. Paskin’s win came from P3, while sarı and Axon both turned midfield starts into strong finishes.

Penalties were significant, but not always terminal. BF81 NiÄŸdem carried a 30s time penalty and still finished second in LMGT3 - PRO. Eduardo Daroca had 10s added in fifth, while the LMP2 results list 20s for Mastro Battista and 15s for Steele.

Next up is Round 4 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course on Monday 5 October 2026 at 18:30 UTC. Until then, you can find the full results and the championship standings on the TSR site.
