Round 5 - Road Atlanta details
Track
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Circuit Length
4.088 km (2.541 miles)
Turns
12

Road Atlanta is one of North America’s most challenging and rewarding circuits, set amongst the rolling hills of Braselton, Georgia. The 4 km circuit is famous for its fast, flowing layout, dramatic elevation changes and narrow sections that leave little room for mistakes. The lap begins with the fast downhill run towards Turn 1, before climbing through the sweeping Esses, where rhythm and commitment are key. The track then drops towards the famous Turn 5 before opening out into the high-speed section leading towards the back of the circuit.

The highlight of Road Atlanta is undoubtedly the back section and Turn 10A/10B, where the track plunges downhill through a series of challenging corners before climbing back towards the final turn. The long back straight provides an important overtaking opportunity into Turn 10, while the fast Turn 12 demands a clean, confident line and good traction on exit. For WEC, IMSA and multiclass racing, Road Atlanta is particularly demanding, with faster prototypes needing to pick their way through GT traffic while drivers fight for every inch of the narrow circuit.

The TSR Way: Close, Clean and Respectful Racing

At TSR, we believe the best racing comes from drivers who can compete hard while respecting the people around them.

The Continental Driver Cup is designed to deliver close, exciting GT racing, but that doesn't mean every gap needs to be taken or every battle needs to end in contact.

We encourage drivers to race confidently, leave room when required, respect their fellow competitors and remember that we're all here to enjoy the experience.

Whether you're fighting for a podium, defending your position or working your way through traffic, good racecraft and mutual respect are what make a great race.

Why Race With TSR?

🌟 Friendly & Welcoming Community

At TSR, you're more than just another name on the timing screen.

We pride ourselves on creating a community where experienced racers and newcomers alike can enjoy competitive sim racing in a friendly, respectful environment.

You don't need to be fighting at the front to be part of the action. Whether you're chasing Pro or Am honours, learning the circuits or simply enjoying some close racing with friends, there's a place for everyone on the grid.

🎥 Live Streams & Commentary

We aim to bring every round to life with live broadcasts and commentary, covering the battles throughout the field.

Our commentator Guss will be on the mic to follow the action, highlight the class battles and bring the excitement of the Continental Driver Cup to the wider TSR community.
