Portimao brought the TSR Autumn Multiclass 2026 season to a close with 75 minutes around the Algarve circuit, the race set against dry, settled conditions and a field split across LMP2 and two LMGT3 classes.
At the sharp end, Ciro Iadicicco made the LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM race his own, converting pole into victory and adding the fastest lap for good measure. In LMGT3 - AM, Per Tufvesson did much the same in the Lexus, while LMGT3 - PRO belonged to Alan Axon, who climbed through to take the class win in the BMW.
LMP2 ELMS - PRO/AM podium
- P1: Ciro Iadicicco, #79 Oreca 07 ELMS
- P2: Luca Sallustro, #25 Oreca 07 ELMS
- P3: Josh Castle, #666 Oreca 07 ELMS
Iadicicco started from pole after a 1:33.210 in qualifying and controlled the race over 47 laps, finishing in 1:16:20.598. His best lap of 1:33.746 was also the fastest in class, underlining a result that was tidy, quick and exactly what he needed at the end of the championship.
Luca Sallustro came through from third on the grid to finish second, 3.920s behind, while Josh Castle also gained one place to complete the podium at 18.879s. Jonas Knoefel, who had qualified second, finished fourth, 32.960s from the lead, despite a strong best lap of 1:34.207. The remaining listed LMP2 entries did not start.
LMGT3 - AM podium
- P1: Per Tufvesson, #8 Lexus RC F GT3

Behind him, Francesco Perrelli gained four places to finish second, 29.700s down, with Ranjiv Kalsi also up four places to take third at 40.339s. Mike Landreth made it three AM drivers with a four-place gain, finishing fourth, one lap down. Ian Paskin finished second in the McLaren, one lap down, after gaining two places. Xander Huizing completed the podium in third, two laps down, but showed outright pace with the fastest lap in class, a 1:44.744. The rest of the listed LMGT3 - PRO entries did not start.

Martin's strategy notes
LMP2: Iadicicco had the cleanest set of numbers: pole, victory, fastest lap and 36 points. Sallustro’s second place came with a one-place gain and a finishing gap of just 3.920s, while Knoefel’s 1:34.207 best lap was quicker than both Sallustro and Castle but did not translate into a podium.
LMGT3 - AM: Tufvesson’s 1:44.942 fastest lap and 29.700s winning margin gave him control of the class. The big movers were Perrelli, Kalsi and Landreth, all gaining four places, while Veenema dropped three from his starting position.
LMGT3 - PRO: Axon’s four-place gain was the decisive number in the class result. Huizing had the fastest lap at 1:44.744, but finished third, two laps down, while Paskin’s two-place gain put him second.
Across the field: The race rewarded those who made the start and kept going. LMP2 had four classified finishers, LMGT3 - AM had six, and LMGT3 - PRO had three.
That brings the TSR Autumn Multiclass 2026 championship to its conclusion. Portimao did not rewrite every table, but it gave each class a clear final marker. You can read the full results and the championship standings on the TSR site.
