Red Bull Ring is a world-renowned racing circuit located in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. Originally known as the Österreichring, the track underwent significant renovations and was renamed the Red Bull Ring after being acquired by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz. The circuit is nestled in the picturesque Austrian Alps, offering breathtaking views and a challenging racing environment.

TRANSATLANTIC SIM RACING - Summer Open Series

 

Join us for the ultimate summer racing experience with Transatlantic Sim Racing's GT3 Championship Series! We’re hosting an 8-race series every Monday evening, bringing together sim racing enthusiasts from across the globe. With the exhilarating GT3 class cars on Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC), this series promises to deliver top-tier virtual racing action.

Our championship is designed to accommodate summer plans, with 3 drop rounds in the scoring. This flexibility ensures that whether you're off on vacation or enjoying the sun, you can still compete for the championship title without missing a beat.

Each race will be unique, featuring a variety of renowned tracks and unpredictable weather conditions. From sun-drenched circuits to challenging rain-soaked corners, drivers will need to master different environments and adapt their strategies to stay ahead. Expect intense battles, strategic pit stops, and nail-biting finishes as competitors push their GT3 machines to the limit.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

TBC Races will be voted by drivers in Discord.

SCHEDULE

Races will be held on Monday evening (EU).

  • Event Opens: 19:30 (UK/BST) 20:30(EU/CET)
  • Driver Briefing
  • Server Start
  • Practice:  10 minutes
  • Qualifying:  20 minutes
  • Race :  60 or 90 minutes
DROP ROUNDS

There will be 3 drop rounds, be sure you signout/withdraw from any races your unable to attenend, this helps both your's and our attendance ratio.

There will be a quick drivers briefing in the TSR discord, in the drivers briefing channel,

 

PRACTICE

There will be a practice server running for the week leading up to the event, the times from the practice server are automatically logged on our website here https://tsracing.club/eventdetails/9110,

ENTRY FEE

This event is free to enter.

 

STEWARDING

We will use post-race stewarding. Please submit all incident reports through our discord channel and the stewards will review the footage/information provided, and after the race, they will assess position/time penalties if necessary. Please be respectful in discord if there is a collision, either discuss over DM’s or Submit to Stewards. There is a 24hr period post race for you to submit incidents. (so incidents need to be submitted by midnight on Tuesday)

Custom Liveries can be used for this event. 

 

We use our own Livery Upload and sync app you can find it on our webpage. https://tsracing.club/liveryupload 

Once uploaded select the race series to use it on and there is a link to download our sync app.

How to submit an incident for Stewards to review

Select the Event from the list, these are just the events in this series, next add the lap that the incident happened on, and then select the corner from the list, (here you can use the track map above to help)

Next select the driver from the list, if more than one driver involved you can select up to 3, any other drivers please name them in the description,

Now enter a description of the incident in the text field, (In english please, use an online translation if needed)

Finally the Video, Please submit a video of the incident, Ideally this should be uploaded to YouTube or Similar, this helps the stewards who may also look at the replay but gives them a intial view of the incident, in your video please include multiple views where possible and ideally have the HUD displayed.

  • Login, if not logged in, this is so we know who enetered the reports and to only allow reports from entered drivers
  • Select the Event from the list, these are just the events in this series
  • Enter your qualifying report (optional)
  • Enter the hightlights of your race, this can be one or more battles, a general overview like if you struggled all race with tyres ect, dont worry to much about grammer they will be used to rewrite a report, (In english please, use an online translation if needed)
  • Click Submit Report
